Meet Dr. Karen Hanna
General Dentist
Dr. Karen Hanna is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing gentle, patient-centered care. A proud graduate of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree magna cum laude after completing her undergraduate studies in psychology at Rutgers University’s Honors College, also magna cum laude.
During her dental education, Dr. Hanna was honored with the Dr. Irwin Quinn Memorial Award, presented to one student who exemplifies empathy, professionalism, clinical excellence, and scientific knowledge in patient care, values that continue to guide her practice today.
Dr. Hanna believes dentistry is about more than treating teeth; it’s about building trust and empowering patients to take control of their oral health. She takes time to truly listen, explain treatment options in easy-to-understand terms, and ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for.
Memberships
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Outside the office, Dr. Hanna serves as a lead Sunday school teacher for middle school girls, mentors youth in her church community, and volunteers with Give Kids a Smile events.
Outside the Office
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Hanna enjoys trying new recipes, baking, traveling the world, planning events, and, of course, shopping for her next great find. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
